| Electrical Safety | 1387 - 2012 NFPA 70E: Electrical Safety in the Workplace (DVD Only) 26 Min. |
The most recent 2012 NFPA 70E standard has many changes and updates as compared to the outdated 2009 edition. In this program, the dual hazards of electrical shock and arc flash are clearly explained and highlighted with dramatic arc flash footage, full-scale explosions and realistic re-enactments of flammable clothing ignition, etc. All to convince electrical workers of the need to follow these critical safe work practices. how to use air purifying respirators, types of respiratory hazards, effects of airborne contaminants on the body, and fit testing. |

| Electrical Safety | 1394 - Shattered-The Jeff Walters Story (DVD Only) 16 Min. |
Jeff Walters, a young newlywed, was more interested in earning the respect of his co-workers than being concerned for his own safety. After climbing the conveyor without doing a lockout or wearing fall protection, Jeff fell 19 feet when the conveyor started unexpectedly. This program teaches the critical safety lesson that risk-taking is never worth it and that any supposed reward of a shortcut is only a facade. how to use air purifying respirators, types of respiratory hazards, effects of airborne contaminants on the body, and fit testing. |

| Electrical Safety | 1414 - Electrical Safety for Everyone (DVD Only) 21 Min. |
All workers should know and practice basic electrical safety. Video covers How electricity works and why it is dangerous. How resistance relates to the flow of electricity and Ohm's law. What the two concepts of electrical safety are. How employees can avoid contacting energized conductors. How grounding, double-insulated tools and GFCI?s protect workers from electric shock. How to respond to a shock event. how to use air purifying respirators, types of respiratory hazards, effects of airborne contaminants on the body, and fit testing. |

| Electrical Safety | 1415 - Electrical Safety for the Qualified Worker (DVD Only) 20 Min. |
The purpose of this program is to explain the safety precautions these employees must always take to avoid needless tragedies while performing any type of electrical work. Video covers the definition of a "qualified" worker as well as its very important and specific meaning. Understanding the various approach boundaries and the shock hazard of electricity. Use and care of voltage-rated gloves and PPE. The Arc Flash hazard and establishing the Arc Flash Boundary. The four PPE Levels related to Arc Flash Protection. Creating and verifying an ?electrically safe condition? or a ?zero energy state?. The few exceptions and limited conditions to allow energized work. how to use air purifying respirators, types of respiratory hazards, effects of airborne contaminants on the body, and fit testing. |

| Electrical Safety | 1420 - 2015 NFPA 70E: Safe Electrical Work Practices (DVD Only) 26 Min. |
This program provides an overview of the 2015 Edition of NFPA 70E which has significant changes to the 2012 standard. One of the leading authorities on electrical safety is the National Fire Protection Association, the NFPA. Their document number 70E is recognized by many regulatory authorities and organizations as the ?best practices? for electrical safety. Every year, electrical workers are seriously injured or killed by contacting energized parts or being subjected to an electrical arc flash. To prevent these types of incidents, these workers and the organizations for which they work must understand and follow up-to-date electrical safety-related electrical work practices, maintenance requirements and administrative controls. how to use air purifying respirators, types of respiratory hazards, effects of airborne contaminants on the body, and fit testing. |
